Access Developer

Description

This person will be doing Access Development day to day. Will be working on Desktops for internal employees and customers to do the Medicare Part D formularies. Must know Access as well as VBA coding for Access because MedImpact makes Access applications, not just database applications JOB DESCRIPTION Specifically this person will be asked to do Access Development, given minimal instruction/requirements, asked to translate that in to cohesive design, implement it, validates it from a technical and user perspective and then document it all. They have user that state a problem and this person will have to come up with a solution. This person provides software analysis and development in support of Formulary Maintenance activities and processes utilizing Microsoft Access, Microsoft Excel, SQL, and other tools and languages. TECHNICAL SKILLS 45 years Access Development and VBA. Nice to have are any Perl, Java, SQL, Oracle, ODBC SOFT SKILLS Must be an independent worker, fast paced environment, must be able to work under harsh deadlines, some overtime when deadlines are near. MUST, MUST work well with others. Active participant in requirements gathering, refinement and documentation. Reviews, analyzes, and evaluates business processes and user needs in relation to current systems architecture.
