PL/SQL Developer

Description

Position summary Works as a member of the Data Services team. Responsible for design, architecture, implementation/integration efforts, including data sourcing, transformation and reporting. Leverage knowledge of current data warehouse and software development methodologies to contribute to the overall planning of projects by recommending approaches, identifying resources, and developing timelines. Primary responsibility will be to extracts/transforms/loads (ETL) data from disparate sources to test and production databases along with maintaining/extending the various data models. Responsibilities will also include database administration for Oracle database. Required skills/experience 5+ years hands on experience in programming in SQL and PL/SQL, using SQL developer, TOAD or similar program development applications. Full Stack Experience in Oracle Exadata. Proficiency in database design concepts and techniques for OLTP. Advanced database development knowledge including performance tuning in Oracle and/or Big Data environments. Strong extraction, transformation and loading (ETL) skills using Syncsort and PL/SQL. Strong analytical and problem solving skills with ability to clearly articulate solution alternatives. Experience in database reorganization procedures, scripted database alerts, and monitored scripts. Experience in database server tuning, application tuning, maintaining documentation, and capacity planning and database security. Reorganized databases and sized database objects to meet standards and improve performance 30%. Indepth knowledge of data warehouse principles and related technologies Experience with a variety of programming languages including but not limited to PL/SQL, JAVA, SAS, C # Writing PL/SQL programs for accomplishing more complex queries or data modifications Nontechnical skills. Knowledge of data mapping and transformation processes. Experience with performing data modeling and applying the modeling to IT solutions Debit, Prepaid or Processing experience a plus. Education and experience required Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent Professional development experience in data warehouse or data analytics.
