Description/Deliverables The FDC Client is seeking the services of an experienced consultant to act as a Certified ServiceNow Administrator. This consultant will be capable of managingand developing core and custom solutions in our ServiceNow environment. He/She will be responsible for configuring, administering and maintaining the ServiceNow ITSM tool along with additional applications and modules. The Administrator in this role will work with the Management leadership to develop technical solutions that satisfy the business needs of the Client and other departments seeking to use ServiceNow. He/She will Configure and Customize the ServiceNow platform, including workflow creation The role will require the ability to take charge of challenges, adapt to the business needs, and stay focused on delivering results. The chosen candidate(s) shall report directly to the Chief of Business Systems Support.Scope of Work/Job Characteristics The Systems Administrator will perform the scope of work to including, but not limited to, the following lists of activities Configure Core System, gather and document user, process, and functional requirements, and develop technical requirements and workflow customizations; Build service requests based off of customer requirements; Import and export data between Servicenow and other systems; Assist in creation of Views for reporting purposes; Analyze and fully understand user requirements and current procedures to improve system capabilities; Customize the core applications using Business Rules, UI Policies, and UI Actions; Develop and maintain test plans and production support procedures for software and systems already in place, or those still in the planning and implementation stages; Monitor health, usage, and overall compliance of the application; Leverage experience with the platform to devise solutions that address incidents and challenges; Collaborate with team members to Client ways to continuously improve our enterprise platform related processes (i.e. Incident, Problem, and Change Management, etc.); Ensure and maintain integrity of the CMDB data; Participate in continuous process improvement in all areas of ITSM.Requirements/Qualifications The FDC is seeking a fulltime, onsite, Systems Administrator throughout the contract duration of this RFQ. Education Requirements Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or other related field. Or equivalent work experience.NOTE Any Contractor with access to FDC's network is required to complete the Department's Security Awareness Training within 30 calendar days of hire.Required Qualifications This position requires the following experience and/or knowledge 3+ years working with ServiceNow Platform; 2+ years of experiences as a ServiceNow Admin or Developer working with Orchestration; ServiceNow Administration certification; Strong working knowledge of ServiceNow components such as Service Catalog, Change Management, Incident Management, Problem Management, Asset Management, CMDB, Knowledge Management, and Discovery; Ability to recognize potential and actual issues, needs, and opportunities for improvement in the implementation of ITSM technologies and service management practices; Thorough understanding of IT Service Lifecycle; Deep understanding of system and ITSM core configurations in ServiceNow; Experience with implementations and/or migrations to the ServiceNow platform Orchestration configuration experience; Experience implementing Discovery; Ability to recognize potential and actual issues, needs and opportunities for improvement in the implementation of ITSM technologies and service management practices; Experience with LDAP integration; Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Preferred QualificationsThis position prefers the candidate have the following experience and/or knowledge ServiceNow Developer certification; ITIL Certification; Implementation and configuration of ServiceNow IT Business Management Modules; CMDB Implementation experience; Implementation of Asset & Inventory Management.
