Mandatory Skills 1. Parallel programing , concurrency, collections, memory models and garbage collectors2. Functional programming concepts such as higher order functions, closures , immutability, recursion3. Knowledge of instrumentation, debugging and performance profiling techniques4. Experience in designing high performance, fault tolerant distributed applicationsThe skill level required is Advanced for all mandatory skills Preferred Skills 1. Understanding of the Microservices architecture style2. Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes3. Programming languages Node.js, Python, C++, Java4. Frameworks and tools in the enterprise application development space5. Experience with web and mobile programming using Angular or Android SDK6. Knowledge of CI/CD tools and process such as Git or Jenkins.7. Experience in nosql databases such as Couchbase or Mongodb8. Experience in embedded programming using C++ or assemblyThe skill level required is Intermediate for all preferred skills Job Roles/Responsibilities Provide IoT Software Design and Development Support. Require resource to work at UPS site 08 00 to 17 00 EST, Monday through Friday. Adhere to UPS guidelines while deploying a change or accessing UPS infrastructure by following companys change management process Follow the UPS Support and escalation procedures/processes when issues occur within the environment
