Java Developer

Description

Position Description The JAVA Developer will demonstrate extensive knowledge and experience in designing, developing, maintaining, and supporting complex enterprise level applications and other system software using a strong working knowledge of JAVA Development of applications, relational database concepts, and superior oral and written communications skills to effectively convey progress, issues, reports, and other customer deliverables with clarity and value. The JAVA Developer shall have IT Software development experience in JAVA. Strong background in Java developing J2EE applications in a UNIX, Windows or Mainframe environment.Knowledge of Electronic Document Management and/or Records Management Systems MKS 2017 or 2009 (or Experience and understanding of any Source Control Software). Ability to develop and maintain multiple applications simultaneously. Experiencing developing JAVA applications interfacing with DB2 using SQL. Demonstrated technical leadership skills coupled with exceptional strategic and critical thinking skills. Ability to independently and rapidly learn new technology, as needed. Familiar with MS Word, Excel, Visio, and Project. Skills Requirements Strong background in Java developing J2EE applications in a UNIX and Windows Strong working experience with Web architecture and Web design and development tools and languages such as Java Servlets, JDBC, JavaBeans/EJBs, SQL, JSP, JavaScript, Struts, Tiles, HTML Knowledge of Electronic Document Management and/or Records Management Systems is helpful Knowledge of Share Point Knowledge of MKS 2017 or 2009 (or Experience and understanding of any Source Control Software) Ability to Develop and Maintain multiple applications simultaneously Experiencing developing JAVA applications interfacing with DB2 using SQL Experience with XML processing such as XSD, XPath, XSL, XSLT, etc. Experience working with IBM Rapid Application Developer and Web Sphere Application server Strong relational database experience
