JOB DESCRIPTION NOTE Teleworking allowed. Required first 2 weeks onsite for familiarization and travel once a while for project meetings.The Analyst/Programmer contributes to the design, development, implementation, and maintenance of custom system software, and/or the installation and maintenance of purchased systems software, as well as the configuration and support of hardware systems across sites. Regularly reviews applications and makes modifications and/or updates to ensure currency and functionality within established environment. Maintains and supports multiple systems or complex software applications and their associated hardware at multiple sites. The Analyst/Programmer produces and maintains documentation such as system requirements, designs, resource inventories, and plans. Provides technical and project leadership to other staff members, demonstrates initiative, and works independently as needed to accomplish responsibilities. Applies effective system design principles and software development methodologies. Possesses a high level of project and deliverable consistency through demonstrated repeatable and reliable performance. Must have ability to take initiative and proactive on starting tasks and assignments and have had exposure to managing both custom developed and vendorsupplied applications.Specific Skills/ Job Details Seeking an Android developer/engineer to assist with a variety of tasks related to an Enterprise Media on Demand project. The successful candidate will have proficiency in Android Studio, a deep understanding of the Android OS including networking and security aspects, experience with application development for the Android platform as well as the ability to consume third party APIs, and integrate with other applications and frameworks if needed. Candidates with proven skills in working with databases (MS SQL or MySQL), XML, HL7 and Java will be given additional consideration. We are willing to entertain telework as an option. However, the candidate must have a proven track record with remote work and be willing to spend at least twoweeks onsite at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN for orientation and familiarization with the project deliverables.
