Business Analyst

Description

Responsibilities Analyze and design business processes to define and implement workflows and functional requirements; Define the business problem and primary objectives of new projects, identify and validate the key business requirements; Create and maintain advanced configuration of system interfaces which may include employment of basic programming techniques; Lead crossfunctional business process reengineering teams and continuous improvement efforts; Create functional requirements in use cases, coordinate requirements walkthrough and signoffs, verifying with user representatives / stakeholders that use cases and process models accurately portray specific business needs; Create and perform test scripts for validating new functionality or fixes; Capture, troubleshoot, document and follow through until resolution of system defects; Work with the business areas to identify process changes required for successful implementation of software applications; Create functional implementation roadmaps; Provide guidance, training and support endusers.Requirements Experience working as a Business Analyst or Data Transformation Developer for software solutions (3+ years); Experience with XML; Experience with XSL development and XML standards; Experience with SQL; Experience with reports design tools; Experience with relational database concepts and systems architecture; Experience reading and understanding technical documentation; Experience with MS tools such as Excel, Visio and PowerPoint; Experience with utilization and installation of applications in Windows OS; Experience with media workflow management systems; Experience with asset delivery workflows for internet portals; Background in development, or QA (write test scripts / cases) (preferred); Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering Information Technology or equivalent.
