DevOps Engineer

Need strong DevOps/SRE (Site Reliability Engineering) engineer candidates asap! Will be supporting enterprise Git source control system, using Atlassians Stash product for this purpose. Daily will be responsible for automating deployment, performance testing, developing tooling to audit repos, upgrades to the system, vendor management, and oncall support for the platform. Need people that can write code no vanilla system admins, but should be able to code in Python/Go. Actual product experience with Stash not absolute required but nice to have. Should have some experience managing enterprisescale source repositories, that would be sufficient and many of the other products deployed, are based on a Java servlet architecture, so they should have experience supporting a typical JVM deployment. Need to know what Tomcat is, but NOT looking for Java coders! General experience with AWS would be beneficial as we may move some of these applications to the external cloud. _________________________________________________________________________________________________________Seeking a DevOps Engineer (Level 3) at Fidelity Investments. This position is based in Westlake, TX.Strong knowledge of Continuous Integration/Delivery solutions & Platform Automation with programming background.The engineer will be responsible to design and build automated processes keeping reproducibility, auditability, and traceability in view for all deliverables.This role will work closely with Developers, QA and Operations to ensure good quality automation is implemented on application and database migration process.Design and implement workflows to automate the release and upgrade process for applications in lower Test and Production environment.Troubleshoot build and deploy failures, and facilitate resolution.Create system dashboards that help improve product availability.Evaluating and adopting new tools to improve build and release processes.Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering.Expertise with strong knowledge on Source Code Management, Continuous Integration/Delivery solutions (Git/Stash, Jenkins, Maven, Artifactory and UDeploy).Experience in maintaining Linux based virtual machines on Test, Staging and Production environments.Familiarity in supporting and maintaining, scalable enterpriseclass applications in public cloud (AWS/Azure) or private cloud solutions.Experience with container management technology (Docker is a plus or Vagrant).Experience with configuration management and automation tools (Chef is a plus or Puppet)
