DevOps Engineer

Description

In this DevOps Engineer role, you will be responsible for the development, communication and implementation of the organization's continuous delivery capabilities, including automation of infrastructure management, continuous delivery pipelines, and application monitoring.Responsibilities IncludeDesign, code, test, debug, and document software that enables DevOps in an agile environment for use by the development team Collaborate with other teams in the organization to define supporting infrastructure and software tools needed to enable DevOps practices in a large scale environment Learn and analyze new technologies and industry best practices to identify suitability for adoption by the organization Contribute to the design and architecture of software and infrastructure to ensure projects meet goals for security, scalability, maintainability, availability, and resiliency Develop reusable patterns and encourage innovation that will enable team velocity Drive a quality mindset within the team Requirements 4+ years development experience Handson experience with DevOps automation tools Handson experience with DevOps monitoring tools Strong programming experience Experience with automated testing technologies (such as JUnit, Spock, Selenium, or similar) Experience in complex projects with division or companywide scope Assets Experience with Groovy Experience with Jenkins and the Jenkins DSL plugin Experience with Docker Experience with Mesos Experience with OpenShift Public cloud experience (such as AWS or Azure) Experience with Splunk or ELK Excellent analytical and creative problem solving skills Independent / go getter attitude to keep yourself wellversed with new evolving technologies in the DevOps landscape and be able to apply this knowledge to improve the software we are developing now or in future
