Primary Responsibilities Utilize excellent communication skills to collaborate with various roles of the business to understand/influence business requirements Demonstrate understanding of crossfunctional/crossdomain requirements and impact Ensure alignment of solutions with business and IT goals/objectives Identify and quantify scope and impact of business changes on systems Facilitate/lead/actively participate in identification of solution options and features Change management, process improvement, and organizational effectiveness skills Communicate solutions options to business owners/stakeholders (e.g. architecture reviews) Professional services client consulting ability is required for success in this role Identify gaps between established standards and proposed solutions, and follow the exception/waiver process as needed Facilitates change and process improvement within software development and business organizations Deliver all project deliverables on scope, on time and on budget Provide strategic thinking, solutions and roadmaps while driving enterprise recommendations and ensuring adherence to established standards and practices including the development of standards and practices where they may not yet exist Anticipates customer needs and proactively develops solutions to meet them Serve as a key knowledgeable resource on complex and/or critical issues Provides ownership for all requirement and solution definition artifacts throughout the project lifecycle Serve as a BPM and Pega leader/mentor for peers across lines of business on best practices Motivates and inspires other team members Develop innovative approaches to challenging and complex assignments Provides stewardship and governance for BPM and Pega communities of practice Facilitates open communication and factbased decision making Reviews the work of others, providing guidance, mentoring and support Solves complex problems and develops innovative solutions through complex conceptual analyses Research, identify, and recommend industry best practices for solving business problems Forecasts and plans resource requirements Authorizes deviations from standards Lead functional teams or projects Incorporate software and system architecture (e.g. infrastructure, network) into conceptual designs Ensure alignment with enterprise technology standards (e.g. solution patterns, application frameworks, technology roadmaps, capital plans) Maintain awareness of current technology assets and the capability of each Maintain knowledge of current and emerging technologies/products/trends related to architectural solutions Understand and adhere to architecture governance framework Required Qualifications A minimum of 3+ years of Pega and Business Process Management (BPM) experience. A minimum of 8 years experience in working with a variety of software design and development environments Must be experienced and fluent with Pega SmartBPM methodology Must be experienced with Agile Scrum Proven planning and project management skills Experience facilitating discussions for groups of 10 or more individuals from all levels of the organization, in person or over the phone Experience supporting highvolume transaction processing systems supporting the operational workflows of business partners expected Preferred Qualifications Pega Certified Business Architect or Pega Certified System Architect Experience with Product Owner Mentoring and User Story Development Requirements and process modeling experience using UML and BPMN modeling Experience with Pega Health Care frameworks and reference architectures
