Description

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONSMinimum of 1 year of programming experience in any language in a professional and/or educational environment. Ability to work some weekends.Travel required up to 50%.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSAt least 1 year of experience working in a corporate environment. RPGLE, SQL, and CLLE on IBM iSeries OS/400 operating system knowledge and experience.Associate or Bachelor's degree.Knowledge of data reporting tools such as Query.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONSConsulting with client to design parameter set, assisting bank with validation of data conversion.Will communicate with client, application analysts and other programmer team members.Develops programming code for existing software enhancements. Devises block diagrams, logic procedures and prepares flowcharting.Troubleshoots and debugs existing code.Tests code and fixes to ensure quality.Develops conversion and system implementation plans; implements newly created code and fixes into existing software.Provides programming support for various interfaces.Keeps customers informed of all enhancements, troubleshooting, and fixes.Creates all programming documentation.
