AZURE CLOUD ENGINEER

Description

Requirements Extensive experience with designing and building solutions for applications using services such as Azure infrastructure (compute, network, storage), database (SQL and PostgreSQL), redis, etc.Proven experience with cloud migrations to Azure and integration of Microsoft cloud services from onpremise technologiesStrong knowledge with Azure Container Service, Container Instances, etc.Knowledge of IP networking, VPN Gateway, ExpressRoute, Load Balancers, and virtual networkingStrong scripting skills, i.e., Powershell, Python, Bash, Ruby, Perl, etc.Experience with seamless/automated build scripts used for release management across environmentsProven experience with software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile/iterative methodologiesStrong track record of implementing Azure services in a variety of environmentsExperience with IT compliance and risk management requirements (eg. Security, privacy, SOX, HIPAA, etc.)BS level technical degree preferred; Computer Science or Math background preferred; MS degree is a plusBusiness level command of the English language, reading, writing, and speakingFamiliarity with DevOps concepts and toolchainsExperience with Chef, Puppet, Salt, or Ansible in production environments with many nodesFamiliarity with any monitoring tools like Nagios, Vistara, SiteScope, etc.Familiarity with continuous integration servers like Jenkins, Bamboo, and TeamCityUnderstanding and experience with code deploymentUnderstanding and experience with automated testing tools​
