POSITION SUMMARY Working with a team of strong technical experts, the Microsoft Infrastructure Senior Systems Engineer is a handson role providing strategic direction and support on the secure use of Microsoft infrastructure products and technologies. The role is also providing technical leadership and support for the organization's migration to Microsoft's cloud based solutions (O365).RESPONSIBILITIES Establish and champion strategic direction for Amerisure use of Microsoft infrastructure products and technologies including Office 365.Provide design, security and configuration expertise to onpremise and cloud based Microsoft solutions (Exchange, Skype for Business, Azure AD, Active Directory).Monitor infrastructure components, maintain strong security posture and proactively address needs for capacity and performance.Drive technology transformation activities; establish technical requirements and designs, engineer and implement solutions.Provide escalated support for Microsoft infrastructure product landscape and participate in team's oncall support rotation.Establish, document and communicate processes for hardware and software configuration, testing and implementation in accordance with security standards and operational best practices. REQUIREMENTS Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or other related field.Minimum 10 years working in technology infrastructure design and deployment roles.Expert knowledge of Microsoft Windows client and server including Active Directory (GPO, Forest Design, DNS, DHCP, Scripting, and ACL).Extensive experience with the following Microsoft technologies IIS, WSUS, SCCM, Exchange 2010/2016, Powershell, and NPS.Deep experience with implementing best practices around Microsoft security and identity technologies, such as ADFS, VPN, PKI, DirectAcess, RMS, DEP, ASLR, and IPsec.Knowledge of security standards, policies and governance frameworks (CIS Controls).Understanding of common exploitation tools, tactics and procedures.Strong hands on experience migrating to Office 365.Demonstrated successful ability to build positive relationships and partnerships within department and across the organization.Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact with internal and external customers.Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
