Amerisure is currently recruiting a Sr. Data Security Analyst to join our team in Farmington Hills, MI. This critical role will be a key contributor in the organizations IT security strategy and help shape our infrastructure. This is not a maintenance role.Summary StatementProtects digital information through safeguarding the Amerisure network, files, user accounts and other sensitive information. Provides data security governance and/or threat management subject matter expertise by monitoring and understanding the everchanging threat landscape and collaborates with business units and the IT department to ensure timely risk identification, prioritization, and mitigation of threats and vulnerabilities.Major Dutieso Lead data security & governance programs as subject matter expert, partnering with the business to implement Data Loss Prevention (DLP) technologies and best practices.o Design, configure and implement IT Security controls supporting the IT Architectural Strategy and protects Amerisure intellectual property from intentional or accidental destruction, modification or disclosure.o Provide indepth technical support and monitoring for existing information security platforms and processes.o Provide expert leadership in defense tactics, incident response and analyze security incidents to determine root cause and identify process or system changes to prevent reoccurrence.o Perform IT security risk assessments, product and application security evaluations and provide documented results/recommendations to project leadership teams.o Research data security best practices and regulatory requirements, establish policies, standards and procedures to ensure compliance.o Develop IT security education and awareness materials/activities to improve organizational security posture, measure and report metrics to leadership.Knowledge, Skills & Abilitieso Bachelor
