The requirement 7+ years of DB2 LUW DBA experience Experience in database administration working with a global team Proficiency with IBM DB2 (certification a plus) Experience in Linux, UNIX, Windows Experience with DB2 V8 & V9.5 and above Experience with DB2 upgrades from V8 to V9.x Handson experience with new V9.7 features and implementation SQL Tuning (Dynamic and Static) using Explain Must have demonstrated ability to adapt technical solutions to complex business situations and strategies Ability to investigate problems, analyze information, and reach logical conclusions Must be able to work independently and with little supervision Excellent organizational and followup skills Excellent communication skills, verbal and written, with good people skills. Knowledge of Systems Development Life Cycle DB2 Database production/development support
