Business Transformation Project Manager Business Professional Implementation Project Manager, Business Transformation High level, Executive level contract/consultative position as part of large Business Transformation initiative with a large global medical device company. Onsite position.The Business Transformation Office (BTO) has been established with responsibility for leading a number of Baxterwide initiatives. The BTO reports to the CFO, and is coordinating change efforts to advance many aspects of our company 2020 strategy. Position Description This role will support critical cost savingsdriving portfolio simplification programs that are moving into implementation phase and involve implementation changes to the product portfolio as well as product characteristics. Assigned programs require cross functional implementation steps (between global manufacturing plants, R&D, Regulatory, Marketing/Sales, Legal, etc.) to enable short and long term cost savings. Specific responsibilities include 1. Accountable for core team performance, project schedule and execution, budget commitments and spend 2. Leads assigned teams in defining project strategies, developing goals, and ensures project scope is defined and controlled. Drives implementation of projects by establishing strategy, schedules, budgets, and financial analysis. 3. Leads cross functional implementation planning sessions to outline project timelines/milestones and functional resource estimates 4. Interacts through program updates and reviews with all functions and levels of management ensuring effective ongoing communications across teams and stakeholders. Updates scorecard for assigned projects and presents updates to senior management. 6. Manages core team logistics including organizing meetings, agendas, and tracking of action items. 7. Manages program budget and business case. Rolls up budget estimation information as needed. Partners with Finance to track actual financial savings to plan 8. Drives use of Project Management Methodology throughout projects. 9. Leads team in risk management approaches and systems. Responsible for making decisions regarding the appropriate risk when there is substantial project or program impact.
