Job Summary/Description MS SQL Server Database design, development and implementation for SaaS products in a multitenant environment and public cloud infrastructures like Azure, AWS Storage and retrieval activities along with data flow and analysis Development of long and short term requirements for database administration and design Developing database structures that fit into the overall architecture of the system Analysis and evaluation of system improvements, optimization, development and/or maintenance efforts Skilled in writing efficient TSQL for 50+TB of data Database performance optimization, profiling and DB monitoring Develop, update and maintain reports and reporting servers Translate a set of requirements and data into a usable database schema by creating or recreating adhoc queries, scripts and macros, updates existing queries, and creates new ones to manipulate data Work with Architects to standardize application frameworks, and other critical product related initiatives Mentor junior engineers on the team Communicating well and working closely with Development and Operations teams for various projects Work in an agile, collaborative environment to implement solutions for short term as well as long term projectsWhat skills, experience and education you need as a team member to succeed University degree in computer science or related field 1015 years of experience as a Database Engineer in a fastpaced MS SQL 2018/2014/2016 environment. Advanced expertise in TSQL, SSIS, SSRS, SQL Clustering, SQL2016, SQL Profiler, DMV usage Advanced expertise in database design, implementation and deployment of very large databases Solid experience with solving issues with very large databases (multiple TB) and in a distributed database environment Demonstrated experience using profiling and monitoring tools with Microsoft SQL server Good experience in C# Capable of independently solving complex problems Knowledge of concurrency Passionate about writing and delivering quality code Comprehensive verbal and written communication skills including mentoring junior staff Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage a diversified workload Exceptional sense of ownership and ability to work with high performing teamsHighly Desired Handson Experience with Team Foundation Server, Azure Experience in NoSQL
