Responsibilities The Security Architect is responsible for the security strategies, architectures, frameworks, and implementation of enterprise solutions for Covisint products aligned with customers business objectives. They will oversee all aspects of the Security program performance lifecycle, including consulting, risk assessment, proposing innative solutions, engagement estimates, security risk remediation initiatives and customer relationship management. Additionally, they will provide the direction of the Security team. Additional Responsibilities In the areas of third party selection evaluation and continuous information security assurance; internal information security assurance; internal/external auditor, customer, business partner oversight response; red teaming/penetration testing; enduser/developer/administrator awareness and training; vulnerability research and risk assessment; technical security solutions and their design, delivery and operations; system hardening; identity and authorization management and assurance; entitlement management and assurance; technical security solution administration and operation; cyber threat intelligence; security threat monitoring and detection; security incident response; digital forensics and others.Develop and implement an overall Security Program focused on proactively identifying vulnerabilities, shortterm as well as longterm remediation strategies, and ongoing program monitoring.Ensure customer expectations and service level agreements are met, moderate weekly program calls, and help resolve daytoday issues.Participate in and support Covisints Certification program and its requirementsActs as a Security subject matter expert in support of sales organziation by providing consulting services to customers. Qualifications Minimum of 5 years of Information Security service experience in a SaaS or cloudbased infrastructure environment. Proven experience managing a security product engineering, security architecture design/consulting or vulnerability/malware research team at a Fortune 500 organization or security services/products vendor.Strong technical foundation, demonstrated through prior handson experience in large scale Unix or Windows operating systemlevel code development, vulnerability research using reversing techniques or similar.Ability to convert business requirements into functional specifications, technical design and provide estimation of work to be performed.Strong problem solving and written and verbal communications skills, with proven ability to work directly with customers at both the technical and business level.Minimum of five years experience managing security project work estimations and financials.Must possess strategic IT decisionmaking skills; enhancing customer business. Prior experience working at the clevel to determine IT roadmap and execute IT strategy. Experience ensuring compliance with outsourced policies and processes, and designing new processes as needed.Responsible for recognizing industry trends in security hardware, software, communications, internet/intranet/extranet and application products and services. Technical consulting background is a plus.
