Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science and/or related field35 years of Networking ExperienceKnowledge of technical telecommunications systems, video conferencing, computer LAN systems, network protocols (TCP/IP, EIGRP, BGP, MPLS, etc.) and bridging, network monitoring system (such as SolarWinds Orion), load balancers, routers, Cisco Unified Communications applications (Communications Manager, MeetingPlace, Unity), F5, Netscalers and telecommunications test equipment.CCNA preferred, CCNP study towards certification preferredAbility to read, analyze and interpret general technical procedures, professional journals and general business periodicals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers and the general public.Ability to travel up to 15% to correctional facilities, regional offices, etc.
