Description Datascope Select is currently seeking qualified candidates to join their development team as a [Job Title]. Qualified candidates should have experience in big data ingestion and analysis. Candidates should also have skills developing applications and tools; these will be used within DataScope Select to increase effectiveness and efficiency of the thirdlevel support team. You will provide actionable intelligence on how the product is used. The insights you generate will allow us to guide customers to more effective ways to use the product, to understand how customers use it, and to guide the Product Team in selecting enhancements and changes to the product. These insights will be essential in diagnosing issues when the customer experience is suboptimal. In the end, you will help us delight our customers! Ideal candidates should be wellversed in the use of Unix systems, Agile development philosophies, and have experience with big data infrastructures such as Hadoop, Apache Spark, and AWS/Azure. Solid written and verbal communication skills are a big plus, as are critical thinking capabilities. Windows development with .NET and Powershell is a plus. Degrees in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Math, or Music preferred. ï 5+ years of related experience DataScope Select (DSS) is Thomson Reuters strategic data delivery platform for nonstreaming financial content. The platform is a full crossasset offering with intelligently linked data for Thomson Reuters content including Reference Data, Corporate Actions, Legal Entity Data, EndofDay/IntraDay Pricing, Evaluated Pricing Services, News, and much more. The platform is built on the cornerstones of high reliability, high performance and customer convenience. Customers can use a Web GUI, FTP, REST API, and SOAP API to interact with DataScope Select.
