Description

We are enhancing our team for a project to rebuild a key internal system that is used by all departments for managing customers, products, orders, vendors, and financials. The service layer is mostly complete; now we are focusing on screens and workflows. We are an agile shop, with daily checkins, biweekly demos, biweekly maintenance releases, and quarterly feature releases. We are a Linux shop, with services written in Ruby on Rails, and running on an Oracle database. We have a deep backlog, so for the right candidate, this could be the beginning of a beautiful friendship Job Responsibilities Develop new userfacing features Build reusable code, components, and libraries Solve problems, show initiative, don't sit around waiting for someone else Ensure technical feasibility of UI/UX designs Bridge the gap between design and implementation Contribute meaningfully to application architecture Collaborate well with team members, stakeholders, and managementEducation, Experience, and Skill Requirements Bachelors degree in computer science or equivalent education + experience Minimum of ten years of demonstrated experience implementing highfunctionality easytouse compelling web applications Meaningful experience with Angular 4 Fluent with HTML5, Angular 4, CSS3, Sass, Material Design Good understanding of asynchronous request handling, singlepage apps, fieldlevel validation Proficiency with crossbrowser compatibility issues, solutions, and workarounds Fluent with version control using git Bonus for experience with Ruby on Rails Qualifications / Requirements Bachelors degree in Computer Science. (Masters degree preferred.) 10+ years of software engineering experience.(Manager can select additional qualifications/requirements as desired) Strong programming language skill in .NET, C#, SQL, Javascript, etc. Great technical and problem solving skills Knowledgeable in various software design patterns and be able to apply appropriate design patterns to solve business/technical problems. Proficient in RDBMS such as Oracle, SQL Server, etc .NET 3/.5/4.0 with WCF, WWF, WPF, and Silverlight Team player who works well across different streams (Product Management, Developers, QA, Operation Team, etc.) Strong written and verbal communication skills
