Linux Network testing Engineer

Job Responsibilities Provides planning, integration, scripting, and execution of all testing required of a single software change or project. Independently develops test plan documents, writes and executes Robot automation scripts, manual test cases etc. Reviews business requirements and designs specifications for low to moderately complex changes/systems for completeness and testability. Setup and maintain lab for functional and performance testing. Conducts testing using manual, programmatic or automated processes. Provides inputs and escalates issues in triage/scrum meetings and coordinates with development team. Conducts root cause analysis and correlation of other system and/or problems of moderate complexity. Reviews and contributes toward product and internal documentation technical specifications, software documentation and unit test plans. Assists in reproduction and verification of field problems as needed Handle multiple, complex technical projects and have the flexibility to work in a very dynamic environmentQualifications 6+ years of software Quality Assurance experience Experience with manual, programmatic and Robot automated testing methodologies Solid experience with Linux operating systems, TCP and UDP networking, Shell scripting, Perl, Python and basic system administration. Strong demonstrated analytical troubleshooting skills. Strong written & verbal communication skills. Market data industry experiences a strong plus; experience with RMDS/TREP products a strong plus; experience with Microsoft Windows a plus. Bachelors degree in CS, Engineering or equivalent degree
