Fundamental Components Develop agile based process for managing the demands on a product design organization creating necessary standards, tools and best practices in a clearly document form.Organize and facilitate project planning, daily standup meetings, reviews, retrospectives, sprint and release planning, demos and other Scrumrelated meetingTrack and communicate team velocity and sprint/release progressMaintain process documentationEnsure the design team is practicing the core agile principles of collaboration, prioritization, team accountability, and visibilityUpdate agile tracking systems to provide transparency on Product & Sprint Backlogs.Recommend improvements and assist in changes to best practiceSupport the design managers, dev managers and project leads as necessaryAssist with internal and external communication, improving transparency, and radiating informationAssist team with making appropriate commitments through story selection, task definitionIdentify and remove impediments, prevent distractions that interfere with the ability of the team to deliver the sprint goalFacilitate discussion and conflict resolutionEmpower the teams to selforganizeImprove the productivity of the teams in any way possibleEnsure the team strives to make each increment of functionality potentially shippableParticipate in the organization and planning of the development schedule based on methodology that has been developed to create a cohesive plan with identifiable critical path, task dependencies, and major milestones, and manages the agreed project plans and schedules, ensuring successful completion within scope, budget, time, and quality parametersAdapting project plans, schedules, and resource assignments as required throughout pilot projects to respond to emerging requirements and risks.Exhibits the following Employee BehaviorsBACKGROUND/EXPERIENCE desired Excellent team player and team builderAbility to work with minimal supervision in a very dynamic and timeline sensitive work environmentThorough understanding of agile software development methodologies, values, and proceduresAn interest in product design and desire to improve the digital experience for customers.Ability to understand technical issues at a high levelEDUCATIONBachelor's degree or equivalent experience.ADDITIONAL JOB INFORMATIONHealth care (HSA/FSA), dental, vision benefits, PTOOne volunteer day per quarterAn onsite gym 200/yr towards wellness gym membership, fitbit, treadmill,...200/yr towards race fee reimbursements to encourage healthy livingUpto 5K a year toward tuition reimbursementUpto 1.5K a year for training/conferences
