Principal Software Engineer - Risk

Work within our Testing Center of Excellence IT team and be part of a small team that helps ensure our applications and technology are able to deliver the capabilities to support our growing banking operations, as well as support our expansion roadmap. You will work closely with crossfunctional business, IT and vendor teams to ensure we are delivering the rightsized solutions to meet current, future and longterm needs in support of our banking product processing and continuing expansion efforts. As a Principle Test Engineer will be part of the Risk and Compliance Group. The primary responsibility will be towards the test and delivery of Risk and Compliance solutions/projects and initiatives being used by our commercial banking teams. The engineer will be responsible for all aspects of software testing including requirement traceability, test scenario/test case design, manual testing, automated testing, testcase management, test data preparation etc. The role will be focusing on developing the solutions working closely with partner resources and onsite team members (PMs, test leads, developers and systems analysts).Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Computer Information Sciences, and/or technology related field required or 10 years in a QA Test Leadership role, 10 to 15 Years of overall QA experience Proficient in creating test strategies, test plans, and test cases Prior QA test team leadership required Must have knowledge and experience in Software Development Life Cycle Ability to communicate at both functional and technical levels with their management Familiarity with Accounting and Cash Management terminology Some knowledge of performance assurance testing Banking domain knowledge preferred Specific experience with ACI UOB Experience supporting ACI Enterprise Banker Experience supporting Commercial Banking Channels Familiarity with Fedwire, ACH, Faster, BACS, Chaps, International wires, FX and NonFX UK payments, and SWIFT Payment formats Knowledge of BAI2 and NACHA formatted files Ability to communicate at both functional and technical levels with team Demonstrated business acumen, problem solving skills, and relationship management skills Ability to work effectively with continuous change and short deadlines Excellent written and oral communication skills (English required) Ability to operating independently and take ownership of projects/test requests, without close supervision, but also work as part of a team Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a consistently changing environment Minimal travel required,
