ETL Programmer Analyst

Description

The resource will work with customers (process teams and business contacts) to collect and verify requirements. The resource will design the data architecture and ETL definitions to enable the handoff to the delivery organization. The resource will also participate in code reviews, unit testing, and production trouble shooting. The resource will need to handle multiple assignments at the same time. Only individuals with 10+ years experience in Oracle, Data Warehouseing Development, Informatica and Data Modeling should be presented. Required Skill Sets The following are the required skillsDatabase Oracle Data Movement/ETL Informatica Written/Oral Communication Skills Excellent Modeling Tool PowerDesigner Additional Information The position is for an Oracle Customer Data Warehouse Data Architect. The person will have solid Data Warehousing background with excellent skillsets in Oracle DB, Informatica, Data Analysis, and Modeling. The resource must also have a good understanding of UNIX. Interpersonal skills of communication are essential for a candidate to be successful; this is both written and oral.The person will work closely with the Process Teams, Project Teams, Business Customer, and BI Teams to delivery projects on time and budget. They will also be responsible for leading smaller projects/enhancements. They must me competent in working with Project managers to track progress, issues, and coordinate work.The person should be able to recommend improvements in development, maintenance, system standards, and process. They will follow Medtronic standards, procedures, methodologies, and protocols.Position Responsibilities
