Requirements Provide database management support for relational databases being migrated from onpremise platforms to AWS or new RDS instances being created at AWSPrevious hands on experience in a cloud (AWS) environmentExperience with the AWS Relational Database Service (RDS) to include knowledge of AWS Management Console for RDSCloudWatch monitoring and alertingAWS Cloud Formation TemplatesBenefits/advantages of different AWS storage and RDS engine typesAmazon Read Replicas, ElastiCache and other inmemory optionisWriting cloud formation templates for RDSMultiregion availability support.AWS inflight and atrest encryption options.Experience with AWS Aurora a plus.
