Responsibilities Work with software development team to create a windows 10 image for our connected offering embedded products Specify and source the appropriate hardware needed to run the JCI energy managed software Work with the selected vendor to test the wim software image and create appropriate build instructions for mass production Create an out of the box experience for our customers that is on par with the OEM computer hardware (dell, Lenovo, HP, etc) industry Recommend best practices for the approach and content of window embedded images Plan, Develop, Test, and Document software for connecting devices and other software products to the JCI Cloud and Data Platform Enhance and assist with the operations of the JCI Cloud and Data Platform Work with other software developers to embed protocols and libraries in JCI products, and with our partners products Work with Product Management to define product features, and with our organization to communicate features to our sales channels, support organizations, and our customers Qualifications BS in Computer Science/Electrical or has a degree and demonstrated technical abilities in similar areas. Has strong written skills and the ability to effective communicate technical analysis and results to business management 5+ years experience creating images with Embedded Windows 7, 8 or 10 5+ years experience working with hardware vendors to create windows images Experience working with creating a workflow for mass manufacturing of windows products.
