Middleware Engineer

Description

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Advanced design and development abilities of Java web applications using Oracle's ADF and JDeveloper J2EE including JSF, Web Services, XML, Security JavaScript SQL, PL/SQL Oracle Database 11g WebLogic Application Server Unix/Linux/Shell Script Source Control such as Subversion, CVS JUnit and Integration testing Structured development methodologies Technical leadership including mentoring of junior associates Solid understanding of current digital technology and abstract concepts Participate in Strategic planning for the use of WCP solutions Lead projects and or small teams of technical employees Coordination and facilitation of tasks within the middleware team Facilitate the planning, design and maintenance process of the WCP solutions Collaborate with Corporate, Divisional, or plant IT to find and implement cost savings projects for the Enterprise Foster and maintain good business relationships with both Divisional and plant IT, as well as external customers Coordinate interdepartmental activities with other IT areas as required for projects Help in the development and implementation of performance standards and accountabilities Help create and foster the team environment May be required to Travel if required by project, task, assignment, or educational enhancement Report to work during nonscheduled hours Work overtime as necessary Other duties as assignedMINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS Bachelors Degree in Business or Computer Science, or equivalent work experience Minimum 3 years of experience in designing, deploying and supporting infrastructure solutions and systems development in a Linux/Unix or Microsoft client server environment Knowledge of SQL and Oracle database infrastructure a plus Minimum 3 years of experience Oracle Web Logic Server Experience with Oracle SOA Suite infrastructure and administration a plus Minimum of 3 years Infrastructure development and technologies Strong verbal and written communications skills Strong project management skills Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills; ability to communicate and persuade at all management levels Previous supervisory or technical team leadership experience a plus
