SalesForce DevOps Engineer

Description

Serve as ICMARC's lead subject matter expert on Salesforce deployment and release automation (Salesforce DevOps)Define and implement a standardized deployment process that delivers hotfixes, minor enhancements and major releases Facilitate release activities across multiple development teams, ensuring predicable and reliable deployments across environmentsAutomate deployment processes whenever possible, optimizing efficiency and quality of delivery, including managing external resources to implement automation toolsSet and manage to consistent deployment schedules, accounting for dependencies and risksIdentify issues and perform rootcause analysis of deployment issues to ensure problems are resolved are not repeatedWork with Technical Leads to define and manage change control process for development, where quality is ensured in a fastpaced, iterative environmentDefine release readiness criteria and ensure all changes meet criteria prior to deploymentWork with developers to properly resolve merge conflicts, deployment errors and meet code coverage criteriaSet up, monitor and maintain all Salesforce.com sandboxes, including creating and synchronizing sandbox metadata and appropriate data setsTrack release metrics to drive improvement and report successes/failures to stakeholdersWork flexible work hours to support releases and environment refreshesCreate change tickets, assemble related documentation, and represent team at Change Management Board meetings3+ years experience with Salesforce release management tools and concepts, including Git version control and branching. At least three years experience performing Salesforce application deployments including 2+ years with release and environment management on enterprise level deployments. Significant experience using automated deployment tools (AutoRabit or similar tool) is required. Experience developing using agile methodologies (Scrum, SAFe).Experience with release management and automation tools to deploy, test, and support code and configurations in a CI/CD environment such as Maven, Jenkins, Cucumber, ANTExperience with Agile Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) tools such as CA Rally or Jira Agil
