Description
The person must have very strong SQL skills. Not just the type of single table query skills like most functional testers have. Many of the people that are successful here as integration testers could function also as developers. Most of the people that we bring in have several years of ETL experience. No experience in functional or automation testing as that is not relevant. The interview is very hands on. The person has to be able to think on the fly and use their past experience to help them answer the questions. We dont just ask definitions. Interview phone screen and then a WebEx interview if not local to Columbus (need a camera on their computer) Skills needed Experience with Oracle and Teradata (databases theyll be working with) Strong background in ETL Ability to develop complex queries (in SQL) Experience with Business Objects reporting (or similar tool would be ok) At least 5 years of QA experience (we want someone fairly high level, might work independently on some projects) Quality Center
