State Farms Web Technologies component is seeking a highly qualified Web Infrastructure Support Analyst with a focus on Web Server Products and specifically Microsofts Internet Information Services (IIS) 6.0 and 7.x. Qualified analysts would be engaged in providing 3rd level support, daily stewardship, troubleshooting, development, automation, and enhancement of web server products to meet Web Technologies goal to provide the vision and direction for business partners running applications on State Farms Internet and Intranet web servers. In addition, this analyst would also act a primary liaison between Web Technologies and business areas implementing solutions on the Windows Server and Microsoft .NET family of solutions.Key Responsibilities Provides excellent customer service both enabling and troubleshooting solutions hosted on Web Technologies web farms and associated server type configurations. This includes enablement and support for o Windows 2003 Server/ IIS 6.0 Implementationso Windows 2018 Server SP2/R2 and IIS7.x Implementationso Intranet and Internet web servers across both test and production domainso Inhouse and vendor provided solutions including ASP, ASP.NET, and CGIbasedo Web server configurations for application suites such as Microsoft SharePoint, Microsoft Active Directory Certificate Services, Microsoft FAST, and Microsoft Exchange 2003/2010 Develops, implements, and coordinates ongoing product updates for IIS 6.0 and IIS 7.x including o Product installation and automated web server configuration in C#, VBS, and PowerShello Enterprise Web Server Settings for both secure and nonsecure web serverso .NET and Classic ASP application configuration including Application Pooling, Session State, Caching, Authenticationo Web Security Hotfix Enablemento Emergency Profile Updates and Automation Acts as a primary contact with our product vendors to escalate and troubleshoot issues outside of State Farm specific implementationso Coordinates with web server support analysts, application developers, and vendor support to determine root causeo Coordinates incidents in the environment with our products and services to meet business partner expectations Conducts research on industry best practices and advancements in the web server product space including o Product road mapping and planning for future feature enhancementso Focused research on product implementation, architecture, management, tools, and services Develops automation to enable product adoption across existing and future versions, which includes configuration tools, server viability utilities, and queryable web services for environmentwide troubleshooting. Partners with other project and service analysts in the enablement space to ensure successful web server product adoption and configuration Collaborates with other areas including Business Application Security (BAS) and Network Operating System (NOS) to create, maintain, and publish State Farm Technical Architecture Standards, Guidance Documents, Product Descriptions, and Quick Starts Responsible for future product selection, enhancement, and overall integrity of State Farms technical capabilities within the web application and content hosting space Familiar with web application migrations specifically ASP.NET applications from Windows Server 2003 to Windows Server 2018. COM+ experience is also essential as many migrating application are based on a COM+ midtier Facilitates application migration efforts from existing web infrastructure hosting on Windows Server 2003 to new web application farms hosted on our IIS7.x/Windows 2018 Server farms Provides subject matter expertise for web infrastructure and applications Provides problem resolution and impact assessments for web related concerns Provides direction for web infrastructure hosting of .NET web applications on Windows ServerTechnical Skills Qualities Masterful knowledge of the Internet Information Services (IIS) product, HTTP clientserver communication, Application Debugging with WinDBG, and general Web Server support. Expert understanding of Microsoft .NET Framework web application development technologies such as ASP.NET, Classic Active Server Pages, and Visual Studio in the support of web application development and automation Understanding of DMZ environment design, purpose, and auditing requirements to meet industry compliance like PCI Proficient in C#, PowerShell, VBScript, Windows Batch Files
