Position Summary Work with distributed technology teams in an environment of primarily MySQL database management systems. The candidate will primarily work with software and system engineers in an agile environment to ensure the reliability, accuracy, and performance of multiple products.Essential Functions 1. Build extensible, reliable, and resilient database systems.2. Work with distributed teams to understand database needs and development challenges and to build inteam knowledge of best practices and core concepts.3. Maintain development and production environments, including performing production SQL and configuration changes during maintenance windows.4. Perform QA on your own work and provide peer review for othersT.5. Meet routine deadlines and work schedules as well as timely and accurate completion of special projects and any other duties as assigned.6. Understand, support, enforce and comply with company policies, procedures and Standards of Business Ethics and Conduct.7. Display a positive attitude as well as professional, polite, considerate and courteous conduct and treatment of others in the course of duties.Reporting Relationships Reports to a Director, Senior System Architect, or Senior System Engineer.
