Description FLEX DeveloperPosition Description Experienced programmer analyst in Flex development, Also, Java and SQL programming experience strongly desired, and exposure to IDEs like Eclipse, and Flex Builder. Exposure to Mate framework and Agile/XP, preferred. This developer will also need to be able to work independently with minimal direction. The resource will be required to be on site in downtown Oakland. The required duration of the effort will be no less than 12 months, and require the resource to be on site in downtown Oakland.Required skills/experience Adobe Flex (3, 4, 4.5) Eclipse/Flex Builder 3/Flash Builder 4 Flash player Actionscript (2,3) MXML/User Interface design Data Binding Pattern concepts (MVCS, Mate, CairnGorm) Experience with Database tools (TOAD, SQLDeveloper, etc) Application profiling (profiling and testing memory, etc.) CVS and/or Subversion Thorough understanding objectoriented principles Iterative development (Agile Scrum, XP, RUP) Highly Desirable Graphic designing / Web site design Familiarity with enterprise development in Java Familiarity with IBM RAD 6,7,8 / WAS 6.1/7 development Large project builds using (ANT or MAVEN) (reqd for dedicated app builders) ORM (Hibernate/iBatis/MyBatis) WebServices (SOA/ESB concepts) Oracle PL/SQL (required for Stored Procedure Developers) BlazeDS/AMF/Object Serialization/Remoting/Data services Sub Applications/Modules Runtime shared libraries Adobe Flash memory management and garbage collection Fluint Logging Charting, printing and exporting data HTML JavaScript / Browser Communication AJAX Style Sheets (CSS) and themes Understanding of networking concepts ANSI SQL Preferred skills XML/DOM, and parsing XML/DTD/XSD/XSLT/SAX/DOM LDAP Unix, Linux commands Continuous integration concepts TDD test driven development
