Description
Join a fast moving team within Bloomberg R&D to develop high quality legal research solutions. Bloomberg is looking for a C++ Developer Consultant with strong C++ programming skills, excellent problem solving and design skills and an appreciation for the scope and impact of their work. The candidate should also demonstrate a history of ontime delivery, excellent communication, and a positive getitdone attitude. Legal domain expertise and experience working on legal research platforms is a strong plus.Qualifications BS in Computer Science/Computer Engineering or comparable experience 5+ years experience in C++ (templates, boost, STL) on Unix \\ Linux Knowledge of XML/ XPath / XSLT a must Distributed systems / middleware / multithreaded experience Proficiency with relational database / SQL development Proficiency with scripting languages Can apply OOD and Design Patterns to software design & problem solving Strong analytical and creative problem solving skills Team Player with Excellent communication skills Legal domain expertise & experience working on legal research platforms a strong plus
