Engagement Description Analyze and document a legacy application in preparation of migrating the application to a new platformThis position will review the C/C++ coding and shell scripts which comprise this application and be able to create documents which explain how the programs function and how they work together. QUALIFICATIONS Top 3 Required Skills/Experience The most important musthave skills. Include 510 years of experience with C and C++ programming. Strong ability to review, understand, and document existing code. Strong experience with ssh, ftp, sftp, ftps, expect, tls, email, smtp, SMB, CIFS, GPG, telnet, http(s), cron, and EOSMainframe (lpr). Required Skills/Experience 510 years of experience with design, build, and support of AIX servers. Experience with programming and compiling code on AIX. Versions 5 and 6 are preferred. Experience with the design, build, and support of file transfer systems. Extensive experience with ksh shell scripting, sed, awk, and regex. Strong work ethic. Ability to work independently with little supervision. Preferred Skills/Experience Optional but preferred skills/experience. Include Demonstrated experience in the creation and management of technical documentation. Strong knowledge of Electronic Data Intechange (EDI). 5 years of experience with Linux. Red Hat Enteprise Linux is preferred. Experience with web servers, cgi, and sql. Education/Certifications Bachelor degree required in a related field such as Computer Information Systems. Industry experience will be considered. Industry certifications in AIX or C Programming preferred.
