Description
Job Description The candidate should have very strong knowledge in SQL,PL/SQL and Oracle database development including stored procedures, database triggers and database packages. The candidate must have more than 5+ years of strong development experience in Oracle forms and reports. The candidate should have good UNIX experience. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required for this position. Duties and responsibilities Design, program, develop, analyze and implement database applications and database objects. Write or update code documentation, implementation instructions and integration tests for applications. Produce technical documentation in accordance with SDLC guidelines. Communicate with both technical and nontechnical groups on a regular basis to pass along important information and to ensure the design and implements are understood by all parties. Maintain, troubleshoot, optimize and improve existing database applications and database objects Develop Oracle forms and reports Develop database procedures and packages Develop UNIX shell scripts. Optimize the existing jobs using SQL/PLSQL tuning methodologies
