RINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES Support the 24/7/365 operation of global network infrastructure. Responsible for leading assigned projects, ensuring successful completion of defined objectives Coordinate with User Support and Software Development teams to support their efforts. Analyze the network and communications infrastructure and provide direction for future improvements. Help manage and support the network infrastructure, security, telecommunications and phone system. Maintain and support corporate firewalls, intrusion detection system, Storage Area Network, routers and switches, WAN connectivity, corporate email and Network Attached Storage systems. Develop and implement disaster recovery procedures including backups and recovery testing. Mentor and educate the members of the User Support team and Network Administrator. Document systems and processes and keep documentation uptodate. Train other personnel on all systems; ensure knowledge transfer for new systems Perform other duties as assigned. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Bachelors degree in computer science or related field. Six (6) years work experience as network administrator. Demonstrated successful experience in projects that integrate new technologies and processes into an existing network infrastructure. Strong background in information security and practices. Demonstrated successful experience in Storage Administration and design with emphasis on EMC specific hardware. Familiarity with VMWare, VSphere 5 and VMWare High Availability. Experience in managing Red Hat Enterprise Linux, Windows 2003/2018/2012, IIS, Exchange Server, Active Directory, Citrix XenApp, Firewalls, VPNs, SANs and routers in a large enterprise production environment. Have progressive experience and demonstrated success in the solution and delivery across all aspects of enterprise infrastructure LAN, WAN, VPN, VMware, Linux, Windows Server, Citrix, Exchange, iSCSI SAN and Active Directory, LDAP, database, middleware and application server, backup recovery, corporation data security and regulatory compliance Excellent problem solving skills. Knowledge of TCP/IP, SMTP, HTTP and other related protocols. Strong backup and recovery background in an enterprise environment. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Security related certifications, Linux Certifications, Cisco Certifications, MCSE and other certifications relevant to the required qualifications. Experience with various authentication and security technologies including firewalls, IDS/IDP and Antivirus/AntiMalware tools. Work experience in a large data center. Experience with Cloud technologies a plus. Experience with office 365 and Sharepoint Online management and governance
