ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Participates in user story workshops to gather requirements with team Develops, unit tests, and code reviews development tasks Designs looselycoupled, reusable, and testable code structures Designs and optimizes databases to support web applications Evaluates and integrates emerging technologies Helps steer the team toward best application design and coding practices REQUIRED SKILLS Java 1.5+ web development Struts and/or Spring framework SQL Server and relational database knowledge Hibernate Unit testing with mocking framework DESIRED SKILLS Experience with an Agile development process like Scrum Web services Javascript/JQuery HTML/CSS ASP.NET MVC 3 web development
