DESCRIPTION This webdeveloper will collaborate with UX designers to render webframeworks based on designs created by product design team. Ideal candidate will be able to work closely with developers to connect the web frontends with internally developed apps for our Equity Investment Management business area. Core responsibilities include JavaScript, HTML and CSS programming along with some JSP or ASP.NET and XML. MUSTHAVE SKILLS Min 5 years experience hand coding with HTML, CSS and JavaScript Strong JavaScript knowledge. Must have hands on experience writing complex functionality (e.g., AJAX, 3rd party libraries jQuery, extJS a plus) ASP or JSP with XML/JSON programming experience have projects where technologies as such were used to connect a appserver backend to a Web RIA Intimate knowledge of browser compatibility issues and solutions a must Ability to work in a collaborative environment and actively participate in all aspects of project development ranging from requirements to deployment a must with our teams that use Agile/scrum Understanding and/or experience setting up a local web development environment (i.e. web server, application server such as apache, weblogic, tomcat) Understanding and/or experience working with a version system/tool (i.e. Perforce) Ability to adapt quickly & work in an iterative software delivery model is a key requirement
