Education/Experience Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent training required. 10+ years of experience required.Role PIMCO is engaging in a major refactoring its software systems to a distributed microservices model. We are moving to a CI/CD model using Cloud technologies to improve quality and delivery of a new collection of java micro services that encapsulate our core data entities and expose them via REST APIs. As use has increased we need to grow our development team and to speed up the delivery of the functionality to our users. We require several Java developer to complete the services. Job Responsibilities Develop and support the PIMCO core services. Suggest and implement improvements to the development process. Analyze database entities and create service APIs for expose them. Skills Expert level knowledge of Java. Understanding of Spring, Guava and various Apache (camel, avro) open source libraries that we use Attention to detail, quality and performance is essential.
