Job Description The Database Administrator (DBA) will be on a team with end to end responsibility for the 99.99% available database environment. This environment is business critical for our communication business. Responsibilities include database engineering, design, implementation, planning, architecture, standards, performance, availability, maintenance, and reporting. Position includes leadership responsibilities of teamwork, communication, planning, and setting goals to achieve business results. Required Skills BS/MS in Information Systems or related field3+ Years of Database Management.Expert in MS SQL Server 2005 and 2018, with knowledge of 2012Excellent technical knowledge of virtual server systems, telecom networks, IP communications, SANs, and highavailability architecturesServer Virtualization using VMware productsClient and Cisco UCS Server hardwareHitachi VSP and EMC Symmetrix SAN systemsRouting, switching, and security using Cisco productsH.323 and SIP communicationsBonus Skills Experience setting up data centers, call centers, and operations centers is required.Strong understanding of human resource management principles, practices, and procedures.Proven ability to make complex technical and vendor tradeoffs producing top business value.
