Organization Supporting Aftermarket Primary systems being supported Oracle Quote to Cash/Sales Product Tier Order Management, Release Management, Customers, Shipping, Advanced Pricing, Items, Available To Promise (ATP) Secondary skills required EDI, SQL and more specific related to manufacturing modules like Work in Progress, Inventory, Purchasing, Supply chain and Warehouse Management modules Additional support on customizations to all above mentioned as well interfaces to and from legacy systems. Principal Accountabilities Provide analysis and offer recommendations to improve the use and execution of the applications. Accurately interpret user requirements to develop clear and concise systems and/or program specifications. Provide SOW estimates with an accuracy of + or 10% and evaluate impact of revision on both costs and targeted due dates. Implement testing process documentation Ability to identify problem definition and resolution Ability to manage work task priorities Ability to communicate at various levels of management in IS and with Business Operations. Excellent communication interface with Information Systems personnel and user community Assist management in identifying system weaknesses and recommended solutions Strong working relationship with key business function users and managers Supporting role from concept to execution, between users and IS; at local, regional, and central levels to ensure successful systems initiatives. Written system application documentation as requested Travel as required to fulfill Service Delivery requirements if needed. Participate in system & integration testing, conduct unit testing & regression testing Analyze software upgrade impacts on architecture and systems Register bug issue and monitor Service Request with Vendor (code and patches) Develop system & integration test plans & scripts Coordinate system and integration testing Develop user training materials Conduct user training when applicable Software maintenance liaison with the s/w suppliers Level 2 & 3 application support Understand and maintain audit and SOX compliance Participate in global application launches & upgrades Position Requirements BS or BA degree in computer science, business administration or a field related to the application area for which the BA is responsible is strongly preferred. 45 years of system design and programming work experience in a related applications area and additional advanced study preferred Track record of successful design and/or implementation projects Experienced in project management and control Strong experience with SQL tools and creating queries. Excellent analytical and organizational skills Ability to work independently with little or no supervision
