These jobs requires heavy documentation, individuals will not be meeting with the business. Will be using Excel spreadsheets to capture data and specs. Candidates must have good documentation skills as well as analytical skills.The BA profile is slightly different than the folks we have on board right now, because were focusing on the documentintensive Letters workstream Excellent documentation analysis skills able to evaluate requirements workbooks against baseline criteria, and document the errors/gaps so they can be resolved. Previous QA experience could be helpful, since the bulk of the upfront work is finding defects in the workbooks.Solid documentation skills and attention to detail able to update functional specifications quickly and accurately. Proficiency with MS Word and Excel is essential, because theyll need to embed documents and hyperlinks into spreadsheets / other documents.Able to work independently. Will primarily support BA staff; limited exposure to business SMEs.Job Requirements GENERAL SUMMARY Works directly with customers at all levels within the organization and with outside parties to identify operational business requirements with sufficient detail and clarity to allow IT solution proposal development. Accountable for providing leadership in facilitating and conducting information gathering, data analysis, documentation of information, and presentation of findings. ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES Conducts analysis of client business processes and functional or reporting requirements. Prepares appropriate documentation to communicate and validate the information. Analyzes the data, evaluates existing application products, and recommends efficient, cost effective solutions which support client business processes and functional requirements.Evaluates existing processes and reporting methods. Recommends efficient, compliant solutions which support business processses and functional requirements. Participates in and may lead crossfunctional task forces to identify and document functional requirements, work flow, information sources and distribution paths, and system specifications. Develops basic business cases with cost estimates, service, and benefit dimensions of proposed IT projects that are used for funding and scope decisions. Applies technical and business knowledge to analyze client requirements in project areas such as IT testing and product acceptance, new business operating models with innovative approaches to IT solutions support, market research of emerging or available product functionality, and operational readiness assessment, IT reporting, process documentation governance, and compliance. Performs other duties as required. JOB SPECIFICATIONS Bachelors degree or equivalent experience. Previous (35 years) experience in information systems development or implementation with progressively more complex responsibilities and accountabilities in a client server environment and/or reporting and process development. Understanding of health care business and care delivery processes or datacenter business and IT service processes preferred. Demonstrated analytical, problem solving, and documentation skills. Demonstrated verbal, written, and presentation communication skills.
