Job Description Develop/enhance the PALMS for wider coverage and broader use. One goal is address special development request on PALMS from NY and satisfy NY requirement. Understand business drivers for development projects and work with stakeholders to agree requirements and appropriate solutions. Specially, this role will work closely with NY Market Risk, Product control, Front Office, and Credit Risk to communicate group system functionality, collect local requirement, and coordinate with global development team on the PALMS development and enhancement. Need to understand product and permitted instrument in global market and is expected to communicate with some nontechnical stakeholders. This role will work closely with global QRVG Development team of 10+ software developers based in London and join global technical meetings. Role is heavily project based, involving communication with users and providing ongoing support where necessary. Skills / Qualifications Working experience in IT development within a banking environment is critical; Knowledge of the wide spectrum of Global Banking & Markets products and services; Object oriented programming (OO) with C#.NET 3.5 to a very high level is critical; MUST HAVE SOLID JAVASCRIPT skills Winforms to a very high level is critical; Must have previous experience in JavaScript and GUI design. SQL Server 2018 to an intermediate level, including stored procedures, views and .NET connectivity this is critical; Very familiar with data management using (data tables, data sets, ADO.NET); Past working experience in Market Risk and Product Control is plus.
