Description

Position Description This senior database developer position involves DataMart design, Data Modeling, Data source mapping, Production process troubleshooting,Database development, Source data reconciliations, ETL system development, ETL Administration, and SDLC/Design Documentation.Database structures/processes will be developed in Oracle PL/SQL involving various sources of data consisting of Healthcare Insurance claims Medical, Pharmacy, Vision and Dental (to name a few). Informatica Power Center will be utilized for ETL processes where appropriate.Data Marts will be built and maintained to support BI reporting and strategic analyses. Duties and responsibilities include Migrate existing PL/SQL, TSQL and Informatica production ETL processes to Oracle 12c and MSSQL 2016 database environments.Troubleshoot ETL issues / problems and communicate solutions/resolutions to the teamMap database sources to specified data types and objectsTranslate concepts to requirements/design then develop code, then implement testing and deploy into a production processComplete development activities timely and accurately while following the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC)Follow Best Practices in Oracle PL/SQL and MSSQL TSQL database application developmentOptimize production processes by suggesting improvements/enhancementsRecord daily hours of development activities in the Data Management Resource Management System Minimum Position Requirements 3 years experience in DataMart applications Oracle 10g/11g/12c databases3 years experience in PL/SQL development3 years of Experience with TSQLStrong knowledge of Data Warehousing schema(s) designStrong knowledge of Data Warehouse Extract, Transform, and Load conceptsExperience with ETL production operations and maintenanceBachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or 5 years of related work experience.
