UX Architect

PURPOSEThis role is analytical and creative and will be responsible for taking the experience from concept to launch. The UX architect must meaningful organize data, analyze and interpret consumer behavior related to an interactive digital experiences in web and mobile.The role will work with a team of technology developers, culinary experts, and nutritionist to creating a revolutionary new user platform. The team is focused on creating a new technical platform and applications that will revolutionize the meal planning experience for consumers. Location/Duration Work location(s) Based out of downtown Chicago (AON Center) Duration of assignment 4/2 to 12/24/18 Typical anticipated hours per week/schedule 40PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES List the activities the role requires on a regular basis. Identify the major end result the position is expected to achieve for each of these activities. Developing user flow and user experience for mobile and web applications Analyzing consumer usability the consumer needs to be front and center in the development Work with the product owner on application research Partner with the business analyst to develop the UX requirements document & testing plan Creating a best in class consumer experience design Building compelling design interfaces Lead UX workshops and digital meetings with clients, technical partners and creative teams, helping all parties to think user first Translate audience research and user needs into design solutions Create the documentation, deliverables, and insights reports that clearly communicate findings and recommendations, such as research analyses, wireframes, mockups, conceptual sketches, user flows, interaction patterns, fully functional HTML CSS framework, user journeys and ecosystem maps Lead clients and internal partners through your research and design documentation, clearly articulating your logic and thought process Be part of an agile development team requiring the use of agile design principles Ability to run design discovery sessions and design thinking sessions Ability to lead and manage user groups for discovery and testing Create wireframes, mockups, and fully functional HTML CSS framework Knowledge of Bootstrap, Material Design, and other design frameworks (Nice to have) Define the design language, palette, and flow for both mobile and web experiences Use strong time management skills to juggle multiple projects and deadlines Work with web developers and engineers to deliver final productsKNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE/COMPETENCIES What skills and knowledge are required for this job What type of and how much prior experience is required to do this job Experience and Knowledge BS in Graphic Design or experience in previous UX roles. Understanding of computer programming must be second nature Excellent listening and observation skills Solid understanding and experience in design thinking methodologies and core UX principles Able to effectively navigate white space ambiguity and possess creative problem solving Familiarity with user experience testing methodologies and tools Has produced and launched a best in class consumer experience design. Portfolio will be requested during interview Experience working with agile development teams Prior experience designing recipe and meal planning platforms Skills needed Wireframing Prototyping XML HTML CSS SASS, LESS is a plus Balsalmiq/ UX PIN/ Invisio Sketch Adobe CS5 Other UX management tools Bootstrap/ Material UI, or similar
