Required Skill set A Functional Analyst in the IP SAP Finance team supporting the business in the testing, implementation, and support of SAP focusing on the Finance modules.This individual is expected to be knowledgeable in SAP Finance with experience to guide the business in the use of SAP systems and processes related to the strategic goals of the business.Firm understanding of finance focusing on to Procure to Pay, Order to Cash and General Ledger flows. The individual must be able to independently drive issue resolution, develop business knowledge relationships, and apply best practice business processes and technical alternatives while operating in a rapidly changing business environment. Deliver 3rd level Finance module support, working independently and closely with the SAP team functional analysts to solve issues. Develop functional / technical specifications, test plans, and training materials as needed.Coordinate with the Subject Matter Experts from multiple sites globally for on testing strategies / techniques for business process enhancements and improvements.The job requires working with a diverse business community to resolve critical issues promptly in a challenging and dynamic environment.This role comes with an opportunity to grow professionally, functionally, technically and personally in an efficient and collaborative team atmosphere. The functional analyst facilitates the implementation and support of SAP Finance modules to enhance the business functionality and overall performance, while maintaining a high degree of user satisfaction Design, configuration and testing of core Finance modules (GL, AP, AR) Experience and knowledge of key integration points with Finance modules Work with site Subject Matter Experts for troubleshooting investigates, analyses, and solves software problems and maps business requirements, processes and objectives. Develops necessary product modifications (configuration) to satisfy business' needs. Provide level3 SAP Functional support to the business units Provide knowledge transfer / support / assistance Develop functional / technical specifications and other documentation, as needed Manage finance master data, not limited to financial statements, cost centers and others Manage converting GL balances from legacy systems to SAP Minimum professional and educational background desired Bachelors Degree (preferably in Finance / Accounting); MBA a plus Strong understanding of GAAP and IFRS standards CPA or CMA accounting designation; nice to have Experienced with SAP ECC 6.0 Excellent knowledge in SAP Finance and Control modules in discrete manufacturing industry; experience with other SAP modules (Sales and Distribution, Materials Management, Production Planning, Warehouse Management, Quality Management, Project System) a plus Minimum 3+ years SAP implementation experience with Finance and Control modules; additional SAP modules a plus Detailed functional experience in SAP Finance and Control module configuration and how these interact with other SAP modules At least one (1) full lifecycle implementation in an SAP Finance and Control functional analyst role Experience developing functional / technical specifications and test plans Experience with Hyperion Business knowledge and process design skills Strong organizational skills Excellent communication skills, written and verbal Good interpersonal skills Must be able to work independently as well as a team player and can manage own workload Able to Multitask and work under tight deadlines Experience working in a SOXcompliant environment Travel is project based, but generally 20% to 35%
