Security/Firewall position

Description

Job Qualifications 5+ years working in infrastructure security/firewall technologies. Experience working with multiple technology groups in a matrix based environment. Advanced experience designing and supporting Security solutions utilizing Cisco, Juniper, F5, Fortinet, Net Scaller and Palo Alto. Must have Fortinet and Cisco. Advanced experience designing and supporting Networks utilizing Cisco, Juniper, and F5. Advanced experience securing Data Center environments from external threats. Experience with Visual Network, ACE, VPM, and vNPA Experience w/ SSL and IPSEC VPN technology in a heterogeneous environment. Experience with WAN routing protocols OSPF and BGP. Experienced with Data Center environments. Must be able effectively work with end user to evaluate needs and determine the appropriate solution. Common Linux, Unix, and Windows system administration abilities preferred. Ability to handle multiple assignments concurrently with a proven track record of delivering results in a fast paced environment. Job ResponsibilitiesResearch, develop and implement new security infrastructure Evaluate and implement new hardware and services. Provide technical guidance to other staff infrastructure engineers. Provide technical guidance to other technical groups. Continually increase productivity through enhanced reliability and decreased downtime of infrastructure systems. Responsible for integrating infrastructure components into an enterprise landscapes, responsible for delivering business applications to our customers. Leads security engineering with budgeting and sizing projects. Maintain highly available local and wide area network designs. Midlevel Security/Firewall Network Engineer. The break down between network engineering and network security is about 50/30/20, 50% being security, 30% network services, 20% core network.
