Job Overview Advanced skill in configuring and supporting software applications,Strong knowledge in writing complex SQL queries,Strong software development and debug/troubleshooting skills,Advanced ability to research, analyze and recommend improvements to the organizations use of the software applications, andAdvanced skill in creating and maintaining technical documentation. 10+ years experience in Operation / Production Support10+ years exp in PL / SQL in Oracle5+ years handson exp in Linux including scripting, installation etc5+ years handson exp in Windows including IIS, installation etc5+ experience in batch Automation with Oracle ODI / Storproc.2+ years exp in Splunk or equivalent tool2+ exp in AWS (Certification preferred) Knowledge on Java Spring, Tomcat is plus. With the open concept of our work environment, the incumbent must be able to handle noise distractions, privacy concerns, interruptions, minimal storage space while working. Every effort has been made to make the environment as safe and comfortable as possible. Overtime may be required at times and travel for related meetings, support or training opportunities. Responsible for defining, planning, and monitoring all application support activities for IT applications including trouble shooting, performance monitoring, recommendation of resolution, installation, training, and script/code writing Implements and supports a broad range of facilitybased IT&S equipment Responsible for the setup and repair of facilitybased, enduser infrastructure and resolution of desktop incidents and requests reported by facility users to the service desk Advanced handson technical support is provided across a broad range of technical areas Bachelor's degree in information systems field is preferred 4 years of Experience with infrastructure automation tools and fluency in web languagesExperience with tools such as Ansible, SaltStack, Puppet, Docker, Chef and Windows PowerShell DSC as well as fluency in languages including Ruby, Python, Java and PHP. Familiarity with CI (continuous integration) toolsCI tools DevOps candidates should be familiar with include CruiseControl, CruiseControl.NET, Jenkins, Bamboo, Hudson, ThoughtWorks Go, Urbancodes Anthill Pro, Microsofts Team Foundation Server and Jetbrains Team City. 4 years of exp in AWS; AWS Solutions Architect OR Developer certified a plus.Extensive knowledge of software build cyclesExperience deploying codeExperience in software architectureFamiliarity with application programmingDatabase managementSystem design
