Job Description The SIRVA SFDC Solutions Architect is responsible for all internal and external (customer) development in the force.com platform. The position owns the technical implementation of SIRVAs CRM as well as all customer solutions developed in force.com. The role is extremely customer facing and requires an individual that is customer centric and creative in the solutions that are created and implemented for customers.Functions and Responsibilities20% Strong experience with Salesforce development (SFDC), including Force.com, Apex, Visualforce and salesforce.com APIs (Enterprise, Partner, Metadata, Tooling API).20% Design robust solutions to meet business needs, including user experience, as well as object and data model structures.20% Document comprehensive design/functional specifications, as well as use cases and user stories.20% Own technical aspects of Salesforce solution implementations (including configuration, custom code, systems integrations, 3rd party applications, and AppExchange products) while ensuring technical excellence of the delivered product.10% Application development experience with Java, .Net, JavaScript, SQL, XML, SOAP/REST, JSON, and other technologies.10% Indepth understanding of the SFDC capabilities and constraints of SFDC CRM application Data model, Data Architecture, and Data Management.Qualifications and Preferred SkillsAt least 4 years of experience with Information Technology and 2 years of experience in SFDCStrong Analytical and Communication skillsAt least 2 years of experience in implementing CRM solutions with a minimum of 2 years Salesforce Force.com platform/Sales Cloud/Service Cloud implementationsAt least 2 years of experience in Salesforce development and implementations skills with good understanding of the use cases for Apex, Visual force, controllers, triggers, batch processes, APIs and web servicesUnderstanding on the Life Cycle of Development including Salesforce Deployment/Packaging effectively using Metadata API, ChangeSet and Ant.Best Practices understanding on Coding Standards, Deployment, Apex, VF, Salesforce Integration, Security implementationsWriting Apex Classes Visual Force Pages, Apex Triggers, Controllers, JQueries to implement complex business requirementsFluent with SOSL and SOQL, WorkflowsImplement SOAP / REST based web servicesMigration of all the Customizations including Custom Configurations, packages and other Education and Certification RequirementsSFDC Certifications
